Buffalo Tech will be releasing in November two Hard Drives including six movies of Harry Potter. Pricing wasn’t announced yet, but here are the 2 drives specs:
HD-LBU2/Hpx6: 1TB of storage, measures 39×123×189mm for 1kg, USB 2.0
Hd-PCTU2/Hpx6: 500GB, but measures 77 × 14 × 114mm for 165g, USB 2.0
The movies will be in DivX format, and are protected with DRM (won’t play without an internet connection)

Sanma Akashiya’s “Karakuri Terebi” held a contest last month in which 10,000 of Japan’s biggest Harry Potter fans competed for a chance to travel to the UK and interview the stars of the new Harry Potter movie. As it is a comedy show, they intentionally picked the strangest fans as finalists. A girl named Kana was the grand prize winner, and here are partially subtitled clips of her meeting Rupert Grint (Ron Beasley) and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) after the break. Continue reading
